Maamwi Kindaaswin
Maamwi Kindaaswin is an annual pow wow held in North Bay.[1]

- June 2018: The 2018 celebration took place on June 9-10 at Lee Park on the traditional territory of Nipissing First Nation. The event included a Grand Entry, a Flag Song, and a Sunrise Ceremony held at 4:45 AM each day. The gathering serves as a way for families to reunite after the winter months and share traditional songs and dances with the public.[2]
- June 2026: The 18th annual gathering took place in June 2026 with the theme of Walking with our Ancestors; Honouring Our Old Ways. The event name translates to learning together and includes dancers, singers, and families participating in cultural celebrations. The 2026 proceedings were held at Lee Park and featured Iron Stone as the host drum.[1]
