Louis Stamis (born 8 August 1893) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Stamis was born at Xeakis, Greece on 8 August 1893.[1]
Service
Stamis enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 94th Overseas Battalion (regimental number 198422).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as restaurateur; his next of kin was recorded as his father, Geo. Stannis, of Reavis, Greece.[1]
