Lakehead Teachers' College
Lakehead Teachers' College was a teacher-training college serving the Lakehead (the twin cities of Port Arthur and Fort William, now Thunder Bay). In its first year, 1960–61, it worked in temporary quarters at Westgate Composite High School while a permanent building was planned.[1] Its first class of teachers-in-training published the yearbook Giant '61.
