John Rose (born 3 August 1879) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]

Rose was born at Birmingham, England on 3 August 1879.[1]
Service
Rose enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 52nd Battalion (regimental number 438684).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as labourer; his next of kin was recorded as his daughter, Elizabeth Rose, of P.O. Aston, Birmingham, Eng..[1]
