John Rainbow (born 5 January 1890) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]

Rainbow was born at Balsall Heath, Birmingham, England on 5 January 1890.[1]
Service
Rainbow enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 52nd Battalion (regimental number 47928).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as ledmaster; his next of kin was recorded as his father, Thos. Rainbow, of 18 Queen St Sparkbrook Birmingham, Eng..[1]
