John Oliver (born 12 February 1872) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]

Oliver was born at Fulham, England on 12 February 1872.[1]
Service
Oliver enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 230th Forestry Battalion (regimental number 1013001).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as bricklayer; his next of kin was recorded as his brother, George Oliver, of 14 Butler Road Sandsend Fulam Eng..[1]
