Thunder Bay BandWiki
According to the Thunder Bay BandWiki, a musician also named John Morris was active in the Port Arthur area. He is described as a vocalist and guitarist most known for his appearances at The Apollo bar and grill, and was also noted for busking and performing on the streets of downtown Port Arthur.
In 2003, Paul Cherwonick began recording John Morris both as a solo artist and with the band the Moonpeople. The sessions were recorded live to quarter-inch analog tape at Paul's "jamshack" retro studio, with the stated aim of capturing a sound reminiscent of recordings from the 1950s and 1960s. The resulting album, titled Thoughts, featured selections from those studio sessions alongside concert recordings from the Apollo bar and grill, and was released on Hometown Records. Morris had previously appeared at Achilles Last Stand 2003.
This entry likely refers to a different individual from the First World War soldier documented above.
