John McLeod (born 15 May 1892) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
McLeod was born at Stornoway, Scotland on 15 May 1892.[1]
Service
McLeod enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 52nd Battalion (regimental number 438658).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as laborer; his next of kin was recorded as his father, Mr. D. McLeod, of 12 Dong Stornoway Scotland.[1]
