John Alexander Spero was a Grande Prairie, Alberta, businessman and the father of Cord Spero. He married Ruth "Lynne" Hartmier on March 28, 1970. Shortly afterwards the couple moved to Grande Prairie, where they built businesses in retail menswear and the restaurant industry. He died before his wife's death in 2021.[1]
