James Watson (born 15 August 1897) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William and served in the First World War.[1]

Watson was born at Glasgow, Scotland on 15 August 1897.[1]
Service
Watson enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 52nd Overseas Battalion (regimental number 438246).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as plumber; his next of kin was recorded as his mother, Mrs. Jane Watson, of 37 Amelia St., Port William, Ont..[1]
