James Thomas Somers (born 30 September 1889) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Somers was born at Dungarven, Ireland on 30 September 1889.[1]
Service
Somers enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 52nd Overseas Battalion (regimental number 438725).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as labourer; his next of kin was recorded as his father, Somers John, of Dungarvan (Co. Derry) Ireland.[1]
