James Oakley (born 16 August 1884) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]

Oakley was born at Almonte, Canada on 16 August 1884.[1]
Service
Oakley enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force (regimental number A38536).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as carpenter; his next of kin was recorded as his father, Patrick Oakley, of 281 Breggill Rd Ottawa Ont.[1]
