J. Green was a retired lumberman in Montcalm, Michigan, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario.
The estate was probated in the Thunder Bay District surrogate court in 1901 and inventoried at $1,000.00 (equivalent to $37,581 in 2025). He died testate, leaving a will, and was survived by two children.[1]
