Herbert Rees (born 23 July 1889) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]

Rees was born at Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales on 23 July 1889.[1]
Service
Rees enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 52nd Overseas Battalion (regimental number 438100).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as loco. fireman; his next of kin was recorded as his father, Charles Rees, of Tredegar Cottage, Cardiff Rd. Newport Mon..[1]
