George Moore (born 23 July 1886) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Moore was born at Londonderry, Ireland on 23 July 1886.[1]
Service
Moore enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 212th Overseas Battalion (regimental number 261690).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as fireman; his next of kin was recorded as his sister, Mrs. S. Cummings, of 75 Regent Street, Sarageta Springs, New Yo.[1]
Marriage
A George Moore married Shirley Anne Mills in Thunder Bay on 30 August 1950.[2]
