George McVey (born 27 July 1888) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
McVey was born at Glasgow, Scotland on 27 July 1888.[1]
Service
McVey enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 28th Battalion (regimental number 73387).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as laborer; his next of kin was recorded as his sister, Mary McKirdy, of 402 Paisley Road, Glasgow.[1]
