Garfield Pitt (born 29 July 1892) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Pitt was born at Newmarket, Canada on 29 July 1892.[1]
Service
Pitt enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 94th Overseas Battalion (regimental number 199218).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as fireman c.p.r; his next of kin was recorded as his mother, Mrs James Pitt, of Barr River Ont.[1]
Family
- Married Helen Gertrude Pitt (née Adams) on 31 July 1951.[2]
