Frederick Strachan Oakley (born 30 August 1889) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]

Oakley was born at Forfar, Scotland on 30 August 1889.[1]

Oakley enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force (regimental number 439173).[1]

On enlistment, his trade was given as butcher; his next of kin was recorded as his mother, Mrs. L. Oakley, of 45 E. High St. Forfar, Scot..[1]
