First Nations Fiscal Management Act
First Nations Fiscal Management Act is legislation passed in 2005.[1]

- September 2013: The Financial Administration Law of Nipissing First Nation is recognized pursuant to section nine of this federal act.[2]
- November 2023: The act is a law that First Nations are able to opt into, making the Indian Act no longer relevant.[3]
- October 2025: The passage of this act led to the launch of the First Nations Finance Authority.[1]
