Edward McCartney (born 25 August 1879) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William and served in the First World War.[1]

McCartney was born at Owen Sound, Canada on 25 August 1879.[1]
Service
McCartney enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Expeditionary Force (regimental number 438423).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as book; his next of kin was recorded as Mrs. Elizabeth McCartney, of 97 Crown St. Pt Arthur.[1]
