Donald McRae (born 25 November 1889) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
McRae was born at Stornoway, Scotland on 25 November 1889.[1]
Service
McRae enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 94th Overseas Battalion (regimental number 199000).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as policeman; his next of kin was recorded as his father, John McRae, of Stornway Scotland 25 Coll Back.[1]
