District High School (fl. 1894) was a government-supported secondary school in Port Arthur, Ontario.[1]
The District High School received government support and occupied a building described in 1894 as situated on an elevated site at the west end of Waverly Park. It served pupils who had completed their course at public schools throughout the district, providing them with a higher level of education. The school was equipped with apparatus and specimens for the study of natural philosophy and geology.
