Diabetes Prevention Project
Diabetes Prevention Project is a health initiative in the Nipissing and Parry Sound districts.[1]

- August 2013: The Diabetes Prevention Project provided the initial funding for the Good Food Box program at the North Bay Indian Friendship Centre.[2]
- September 2013: In the spring of 2013, the project provided walking poles to various health centres and friendship centres. The project promotes staying active and healthy eating to help prevent chronic diseases like Type 2 diabetes.[1]
