David Busby Centre
The David Busby Centre is an organization in Barrie, Ontario, that aims to reduce the impact of homelessness.[1]
As of December 2020, the centre operates an outreach van seven days a week to deliver survival supplies, meals, and health care referrals. The organization provides emergency group lodging and partnered with other agencies in March 2020 to lease a hotel for individuals experiencing homelessness to isolate during the pandemic.[1]
The name appears in the Lakehead University Alumni Spotlight profile of Sandra Best.[1]
