Christmas Wish is an annual holiday gift-giving campaign for children.^[1]

December 2020: The 2020 campaign aimed to fill 600 bags containing toys, clothing, books, and essential items for vulnerable children. The initiative allows community members to sponsor a bag or shop for specific items based on a child's profile. The program has provided personalized gifts to thousands of children since its inception in 2008.^[2]
December 2022: The 2022 campaign involves filling bags with necessities and specific items tailored to the individual interests of children. Participants can pick up bags at locations including Dilico Anishinabek Family Care, Firedog Communications, and Starbucks outlets in Thunder Bay. The program provides an opportunity for families, businesses, and other groups to fill bags based on a child's needs and wishes.^[3]
November 2024: The program has provided more than 9,000 gift bags to children throughout the Thunder Bay District over its history. Participants fill bags based on a child's age, gender, and specific needs or wants listed on a wish list. The 2024 campaign includes pop-up booths at events like the Craft Revival and performances of Elf the Musical at Magnus Theatre.^[1]
