Axel Nelson (born 23 February 1894) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Nelson was born at Bergland, Canada on 23 February 1894.[1]
Service
Nelson enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 141st Overseas Battalion (regimental number 820948).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as hunter and trapper; his next of kin was recorded as his wife, Mrs. A. Nelson, of Bedford, Ont. Canada.[1]
