Arthur Torrie (born 7 March 1892) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Torrie was born at Glasgow, Scotland on 7 March 1892.[1]
Service
Torrie enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 28th Battalion (regimental number 73412).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as railroad employee; his next of kin was recorded as his father, Donald Jovie, of Kakabeka Falls, Ont.[1]
