Arthur Edward Parkes (born 30 May 1892) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]

Parkes was born at Shorts Farm, Biddenden, Kent, England on 30 May 1892.[1]
Service
Parkes enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 1st Depot Battalion, Manitoba Regiment (regimental number 2383420).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as farmer; his next of kin was recorded as his father, William Parks, of Shorts Farm, Biddenden, Kent County, England.[1]
