Archibald Macgowan (born 25 December 1874) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Macgowan was born at Campbelltown, Scotland on 25 December 1874.[1]
Service
Macgowan enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 230th Battalion (regimental number 1013419).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as butcher; his next of kin was recorded as his sister, Katherine MacGowan, of Clyde Bank, Scotland.[1]
