Alexander Russell (born 11 August 1874) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Russell was born at Algoma District, Canada on 11 August 1874.[1]
Service
Russell enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 94th Overseas Battalion (regimental number 198127).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as carpenter; his next of kin was recorded as Dorthy Ann Russell, of Manitoulin Island, Providence Bay.[1]
