Alexander Macfadyen (born 27 May 1886) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]

Macfadyen was born at Island of Tiree, Scotland on 27 May 1886.[1]
Service
Macfadyen enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 1st Depot Battalion, Manitoba Regiment (regimental number 2384167).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as joiner; his next of kin was recorded as his mother, Mrs Isabella Mc Fadyen, of Barrapool, P.O. Island of Tiree, Argyleshire, Scotland.[1]
