Alexander Ernest Smith (born 18 September 1892) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]

Smith was born at London, Canada on 18 September 1892.[1]
Service
Smith enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 94th Overseas Battalion.[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as newspaperman; his next of kin was recorded as his mother, Mrs James A. Smith, of 418 King St, London Ont.[1]
