Alex Roy (born 10 November 1894) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Roy was born at Ottawa, Canada on 10 November 1894.[1]
Service
Roy enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 1st Depot Battalion, Manitoba Regiment (regimental number 2383681).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as laborer; his next of kin was recorded as his mother, Mrs Victoria Guay, of 231 St. Clair street, Fort Francis, Ontario, Canada.[1]
