Alex Mackay (born 28 October 1890) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Mackay was born at Garrabost, Scotland on 28 October 1890.[1]
Service
Mackay enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 1st Depot Battalion Manitoba Regiment (regimental number 2383373).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as elevator weighman; his next of kin was recorded as his mother, Ada McKay, of Garrabost, Stornway, Isle of Lewis, Scotland.[1]
