Fallon was born at Plaistow, County Essex, England on 16 June 1896.[1]

Fallon enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 52nd Battalion, C.E.F. (regimental number 438492).[1]

On enlistment, his trade was given as talker; his next of kin was recorded as his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Fallon, of 12 Avenue Road, Hampton, Middlesex, Eng..[1]
